Bochum on the other hand is in danger of being relegated like almost every year. We will also have to see how strong the new players at Bochum are and how fast they can be integrated in the team. In the last season Bochum was especially away very weak with a terrible away record. I think Bochum will also not be able to win at Karlsruhe this time, and looking at the odds I think the value is on the home win here!

This first game of the new season is really a highlight for german soccer fans. Bayern Munich have some troubles with injured players like Toni and Ribery which are one of the most important players of them. So Schweinsteiger and Podolski have to play like they did at the EM. It seems clear to me that this players will be top motivated and they will try to snap their chance. HSV lost their most important player Van der Vart during the negotiation period but they have a good team with the wright mix of old and young players, so I am sure that this team will give us a suprise.

Bayer Leverkusen - Borussia Dortmund

The success trainer of Mainz, Jürgen Klopp, is now the new Trainer of Borussia Dortmund and he shows that his team is very strong this year. Also Leverkusen have with Bruno Labbadia a new trainer. So we will see which Team gets the so called "trainer-effekt". I guess that Borussia will have the better start in this season because they played a good warm up period and also won their first matches.
